The Bank is established with aim to cater to the fundamental need of local people though co-operation, Late Shri Vasantrao Kasbekar motives the people who play the role in social work of city, and following group of eminent personalities come together and established the Bank on 19.04.1963.

Till 1990 Bank had only 8 Branches in Akola district. After liberalization in 1991, Bank opended 21 branches and 1 extension counter throughout Maharashtra. Now the Bank has 30 branches in Maharashtra and 4 branches in Indore (M.P).

The Bank is progressing day by day and implemented latest technology for operations, Bank deliver the services to its satisfied customer through Digital Platform and Branches. Technologically Bank is updated and working on CBS platform with Mobile Banking Application, ATM/ Debit Card, Internet Banking (Non-financial) etc.
